Wonder if it is possible to use a standard computer monitor with the x-box and if so what connections are required ?? results likely to be any better or worse than a normal tv screen ??

secondly, what advantages have fitting a mod chip to this games machine ?? can the non solder type chip play all game back ups / dvd backups ?? what else does a chip allow over a non chipped x-box ??

Yes it's possible, use something like This If you've got a TFT though be careful which adapter you get, cause some don't work.

As good, maybe better.

Plays backups, mp3's, all movie files (divX, mpeg etc) to name a few things

It can do everything the soldered chip can do

If you play backups without purchasing the game, it'll make you a criminal

dont suppose anyone on here has a spare lead adapter to enable the connecting off my pc steering wheel to this x-box ?? or even that vga box ?? to allow me to run this particular games machine thru a computer monitor I have ?? if not, no problems will order thru the above link.
