Is anyone else dissatisfied with the search responses google gives these days? I remeber when people used to rave about google. forget askjeeves, yahoo, etc But it's changed somehow... especially when searching for items you want to buy. It seems to offer a bias for certain suppliers that it didn't used too. It's all good business for them I know but somehow goes against the 'spirit' of search engine use if you know what I mean.
Does anyone feel the same? Or is it just me?

I'm fed up with all the Shopsmart/Dealtime/Kelkoo crud that comes up when I just want information, not their rubbish. I wish I could switch them off.

I assumed that those good-for-nothing deal comparison sites appeared near the top by chance. Perhaps I've been too trusting?
