Just a note to anyone looking.
Essentially, the MS BT stack in the XDA2 has not been properly/fully implemented. This means that certain features (such as Serial Connection, Handsfree etc) were not available when this product was released.
There is now a fix for the XDA2 MS BlueTooth stack that allows an XDA2 to be used with any BlueTooth GPS device

This chap will be further refining the stack and introducing the bits that O2/MS/HTC left off - probably months ahead of any official update
