Talking

Apple UK have just sent me my new 40gb so presumably they still have some lurking somewhere ?

Incidentally anyone want an unused 2nd gen 20gb ? (it's the warranty replacement for the previous one that died)

40Gb are the ones they want you to buy hence there being more stock.

Rich , great deal on 17" PowerBook £1659. its the first series and some £500 cheaper than the new one thats a bit faster. We have overstock so they're going out at cost.

I'll check some more pricing tomorrow for you. We must meet up again as I keep popping down to Bournemouth every few weeks. How you keeping ?

AllanB is that 1659 incl VAT? Are they any good for music production? (running Pro Tools with a few plug-ins ...)

Thumbs up

Ian,

get yourself on the apple site, look for the link for refurb items and they sell about 4 ipods a week, you have to be quick though, typically 25-35% cheaper than list with full 12 months warranty.

No £1659 EX VAT and delivery whilst they last. Not too sure about the music side as its not something I know a great deal about being totally honest.

I've got one here right now , blinding pice of kit. A little heavy but the perfomance and quality is superb. Really nice being able to burn DVDs too in such a nice package and comes with all the sw to allow you to edit videos and save as DVDs whihc is nice.
