Uploading some files to a friend & I thought the 600k line was specced at 256k upload, I'm only getting about 1/2 that. Can anyone confirm before I waste 1/2 my day trying to get through to them to complain.
Thanks

I get 600K and more on d/l - I guess it depends on how many people have cable modems in your street. 128K is the standard for upload.

600k/s Chris??
I'm on 1 meg DSL with nildram. I get about 117/120k/s download and about 35k/s upload. Depends where i'm connecting to. 1024 download and 256 upload for me iirc.
/me goes off and looks at his dsl contract.

R.B.5 He's talking kilobits and ur talking kilobytes. Most broadband connections are measures in kilobits. There are 8 bits to a byte so a 512kilobit connection will download at a theoretical maximum of 64kbytes.
