This has been getting at me for ages now and its just flipped me!!
I am sure there is a simple answer for a simple fella
When I have, say, a web page up and click print - so often it uses up 2 sheets of paper, but one only has like 2 lines of text on!! what a waste - how can I stop this??
Please help before I break out the asprin and razor blades - and be lost to SN forever!!
Pete
I've just found print preview - is that the ONLY way?

Nearly always happens, hence some sites offering "printer friendly" versions of their pages. Not many do this though.
I keep a spare sheet of paper to re-use as the gash second page. Then I just place it behind the blank sheet when I print a page out. Tedious, but saves a load of paper.

USA good was it? I saw Zena yesterday - left Les and her to chat!
Did the Scooby survive the experience without you?

Pete, have you tried....
a) reducing the margins on the page setup, then do a print preview to see if they fit on.
b) save the web page to disk, then edit it in word or a proper html editor to get the info you want.

file->print...
"Page Range"
Just type in 1 and dont bother with the 2nd page?
or
View->Text Size->Smallest
Then print
~Jules
Edited to say, doh Redkop's answer is the best I guess
