My Explorer home page keeps changing!
I like to have Scoobynet
as my homepage but this poxy page here (http://www.hand-book.com/hp) keeps setting itself as the homepage everytime I restart. I've deleted cookies, history and internet files but its still doing it. IE also seems to be running a lot slower than it used to. How do I get rid of it.
BTW, I think the FBI/CIA should set up an armed unit that finds all companies that use agressive techniques like this (and also popups that try do downloads stuff) an bust in on them and shoot them all in the nutts

Also try SpyBot
I like to run it after AdAware as a "double punch". Here's what I do:
1) Run AdAware
2) Restart
3) Run AdAware again
4) Restart
5) Run SpyBot
If you're going to continue to use Internet Explorer as your main browser, go to the Prefs and in the Advanced tab uncheck "Enable Install On Demand" Also, get something like the Google toolbar to block pop-ups.
Alternatively look at Mozilla, Firebird (still in beta), Opera or any of the other browsers available.

Here is someone else that encountered the problem you're describing.
HihackThis will give you a good breakdown of things that are changed by these b!tch apps.
This should remove it.
Unzip and run it.
Reboot.
