Cool registry edits???
Go into REGEDIT and search for the currently displayed string and edit it!
Worked for me

Now if anyone knows where in REGEDIT i can re-enable the "customise" button on my IE search window after some **** web-site overwrote the search URL (which i manually reset in REGEDIT). Unfortunately i don't know how the button was disabled

Assuming you are on 2000/XP....try here
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Inte rnet Explorer\Infodelivery\Restrictions
for the value "NoSearchCustomization"
It's a possibility, but there may be other ways they have achieved this
If you have XP, you can check it using gpedit.msc
User configuration, Admin Templates, Windows Components, Internet Explorer, "Search: Disable Search Customization"
Do be careful with gpedit though won't you
Have fun

I always edit each MenuShowDelay value (setting it to 0). That defines how quickly menus are drawn (i.e. in this case with zero delay).
I can't remember all the IE reg tweaks. One easy way may be to install something like TweakXP, make some changes, and then look in the registry to see where they were stored/changed.
