Does anyone know where I could get a mains power lead going from a 3 pin 13amp plug to fiqure 8 plug 3m in length.

Just tried some of my usual suspects for mains cables and, yup, all 2m.
Get a 2m, chop the plug off, stick a connection box on and a length of extra cable with a new plug?

channel out the wall 1 meter towards the projector, with a kangol or sds drill bit, move the mains socket accordingly, polyfilla over the hole made, use the 2m lead. voila!!
