Question

I have to update 2 packages (glibc and glibc-common) on RH ES Linux. I used rpm -U and they both complain that they have dependencies on each other.

So how do i update them both cleanly ? Can I force the update, or should I do them both at the same time ? Also how should I update the kernel ? SHould it be done in the same way ?

Worked it out:

rpm -Uvh [rpm package 1][rpm package 2][rpm package 3]..etc..
