Question

Any reasons to go for Windows Mobile 2003 over Pocket PC? Although I think I am eligible for a cheap upgrade (£25 ish) for my IPaq 3955 which I have ordered.

Isnt the Mobile 2003 version specifically for the mobile phone PDA's like the XDA2

ANd Pocket PC 2003 is for standard Ipaqs, personally I would go for the 2003 version, as it is allegedly much quicker, and like everything else Microsoft these days, more multimedia biased

Like any new version of Windows, I'd expect it to run slower than its predecessor on any given hardware. Is there any particular reason this should not be true of the current WinCE incarnation?

actually 2003 seems to run loads faster from the reviews and tests I've seen on the net. It was a compelete re-write of the base code.

Hmmm I guess I will just have to give it a go and see, IIRC I can revert between 2002 and 2003 without any major hassles?
