I always find basic PC networking such a pain in the ***, probably doesnt help cos Im not really that au fait with it either. My problem is a simple one though! Put internet connection sharing on my box (Win2K) and for those that know it wants to set an IP of 192.168.0.1. This is fine my colleague can surf the net thru my connection. However I have a second lan box (Win"k server) which I could see fine yesterday and having set its IP to 192.168.0.3 I can ping it, I can VNC to it but via network neighbourhood I cannot browse to it, both are on the same workgroup and a drive I mapped to it yesterday is even working I just cant reach it now and its driving me f**king nuts!!!

Help preserve my sanity guys please!

OK after much STFW the problem was to do with enabling internet connection sharing, I enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP and now it works, I still f**king hate networking though!
