Just messing about with impreza pics and ive seen soom impresive results in the gallery but cannot fig out how they dont it, main changing the colour of the wheels etc.

If it's PaintShop Pro, then you need to select the area of the pic you wish to change (use the lasso or similar), then go
Colours
Colourize
and mess about with the slider bars in there. Easy. You may also need to adjust the brightness and contrast of the selection, as some of the colours seem a bit day-glo.
