Hi,
I am the Intranet Webmaster for the company I work for, and they have given me a budget of £400 to learn a programming language (such as .Net, ASP or Visual Basic, which are all used in our systems). The course can either be of the distance learning variety, or a one- or two-day residential course (though not likely for £400!).
Anyone got any recommendations / ideas? I have used ICS in the past, but I was wondering if anyone else has done a similar course or knows of any websites that are worth a visit.
Thanks
Daniel

buy learning perl (lama book) and programming perl (camel book) from oreilly.com and php bible, then pocket the rest.
Perl and php are the laungages of the net and you can't go wrong with them. Add this in with a bit mySQL etc and your gonna be web genius
