Hi any help appreciated
Sharing personal pc at home with the missus. We both have ntlworld
e-mails, and I have set up both accounts in the Outlook-Tools-Options-mail services. So both e-mails feed Outlook - But I don't want to read each others mails.
BTW I'm using Win98, and Outlook98.
So I set up 'USERS' in Control panel, and limited access in Outlook to feed my mails in my 'User' and wife's mails in her User
profile. This works great - all NEW mails are now user specific.
BUT all mails already in Outlook (dowloaded from the NTL pop server) are visible when either user is logged in.
Can I restrict this? Can I create an extra 'Inbox'/'Mailbox' and direct mails from each account to the seperate Inbox. and then restrict access by user? Have seen this in Outlook, but maybe 2000. I can't find the menus in 98 to do this.
THanks

Woz,
Not sure in '98 in 2k onwards you just setup the rules wizard to divert emails to a specific account to a user defined mail-box, should be under the 'Tools' menu.

i used to do this ... don't think there's a way round it.
buy XP upgrade (~£85) and then you get a much better setup - you both have seperate accounts which means seperate FULL outlook, IE settings (+history, favs etc), wallpaper ... etcetcetc.
alternatively, just use yahoo or hotmail.
