No Beeps Peeps! Is this very bad?????

No beeps now on startup, nothing on screen. It sounds like it's working but doesn't start up at al now (see previous thread CPU temperature). If anyone can help me I would be most grateful as I've lost all contact with the outside world at home now

If you are getting power and all the fans/hdd are spinning then the most probable cause will be a dead or loose cpu, try reseating it but if it is still the same then it is most likely dead.

Madness!!! I got home, turned it on again, same thing. Then I took the whole thing apart, gave it a wipe, put it back together without the extra fan (gaffer taped if you recall) and now it works fine again. +5V is a steady 4.8!! Very strange indeed, it could've been the dodgy fan as there is no hardware error or anything. In fact it's not been this healthy for a while. My other hard drive is still not located though. I've tried it in every possible combination but still nothing. Methinks it's fried for sure. Ah well, at least I'm back in business (for now) Cheers Cookie

lots and lots, some that would interest Telboy from Muppets anyway. The most important thing is my damn film though, all 3.5GB of the *******. If I remember I may bring it in tomorrow
