I built a site for my school using www.ukfantastic.net.
You register for a pay as you go account, costing 1p per min (local rate call) and then set up webspace.
All you have to do after that is dial in using the account and upload your files..easy, and v reliable.
The school website is at www.cottamprimaryschool.co.uk
but is hosted by ukfantastic.
I thoroughly recommend them.

Fine as long as you dont put any rude pics of ladies without any knickers on LOL
The only add you have on there is one line stating that they host/created your site.
Easy to use web creator too.
