As Sammy has pointed out, I don't own a Scooby.... gasp, horror!!!

The kit came with 3 different mounting brackets, and I have chosen to use the windscreen suction cup which works very, very well.

Does the GPS kit have some sort of traffic reporting system, tells you of road closures and the like.

I am not aware of it having TMS...... but then I havent boned up on all the add-ons that are available for the TOM TOM kit yet (which a lot are third party).

Shaun.

X3 Dimensions:
Length 117.0 mm
Width 76.0 mm
Height 14.8 mm
Weight 138 g (with standard battery)

X5 Dimensions
Length 128 mm
Width 81.5 mm
Height 18 mm
Weight 196 grams

not much smaller
11mm off the length under 1/2 inch
5mm off the width under 1/4 inch
3mm off the thickness 1/8 inch

This could be perfect and at the right price for sat nav, as you only need the cheaper Compact flash memory not secure digital, 128meg holds the whole UK
