Anyone got any ideas how to fix this ?

Put Nero 5.0.0.15 on my Dad's PC and can't get it to burn a disc, just get this error. Win98SE by the way with some cheap Artec 52x burner.

 

check their website for any upgrades.

ever had any trouble like this before - meaning has nero burned to that drive before?

 

Always worked before. Just done a fresh install and EZCD Creator won't work either

 

I needed to upgrade to 5.5 to get mine working - it was a free download

 

Ooops, meant 6.0.0.15.

 

this error can occur when the CDs that u use arnt up to the speed that the writer tried to write the discs at.

i had this before.. 52 speed writer... discs were rated for 36 speed or something.... lowering the write speed worked
as did buying better discs

 

isn't v6 meant only for WinXP?
