Question

Looks kike my AVG virus soft ware has picked up on it, but can't remove the'last little' bits of it.
Any ideas ppl?? please.

I've search the net about it and can its not been much help... as i search for dialer in 'Folders and Files' and look for the inficted files.. i think it has already gone.. with the help of AGV.

But i've read it can still be there!

I wounder if the infection has come in on the MASS Emails i get trying to sell me Viarga! lol
But I never open any thing unless I know who its from.. and i Virus check it off a floppy (no pun intened with the Viragra) disc too.

Where do i look to see if it has all gone.

AVG still says that there is a dialer virus there!

Ps.... I've never had any ActiveX Dialer boxes etc open..(to shut me out of my ISP connect) ..trying to Re Dial me to anyone/thing else!!!

should i be worried?

also where do i finf WINDOWS EXPLORER in ME? I can't find it at all!

Phil

Shouldnt cause you any issues as far as I know
They remove cookies and spyware only

I would also suggest you install a fire wall unless you already have on installed

There are various ones around and I'm not getting into a flame war
