Just got what was supposed to be a 512 link from openwoe activated yesterday. Now I am getting download speeds of approx 190KB/sec. Am I missing something or should a 512 only give 50-60KB/sec?
p.s. - In case you wonder, I am not planning to mention it to Openwoe

512kbit equates to a download speed of 64kbyte. There are overheads so normally youd expect between 50-60kbytes per second.
Is this a consistent download rate or just when you start downloading?

Try here, I usually get abot 460'si up and 240 down.

Constant 190Kbyte is at the low end of the download speed you would get with a 2Meg connection.
I get an average of about 220Kbyte with my cable connection.
