clock running slow.

how come i have to keep adjusting my clock every day. i keep noticing it running slow. i adjusted it forward 5 minutes this am, and now its 5 mins slow again this pm!! i have windows 98 on a laptop.

desktop pc's have a battery onboard which keeps the time i think, maybe you need to fit a new one!

Just an idea.

I loved it when someone asked on a Rolex forum "why are computer clocks so inaccurate, despite all the technology", and this provoked the comment "they would be more accurate if the silicon chip involved was ground down and its powder put into an egg timer."
