I need to find a good, reliable, easy to use and free video conferencing software.

MSN 6 won't let me select my webcam, which is a standard canon digital camera connected to a video in port. Yahoo will not work on my brothers PC with WinME say's he has a codec missing but won't tell him which one.

So what else is there?

Years ago I used to use something called "cuseeme". It's still around, but I don't know if you have to pay for it.

Have a wander through google.

They will all use your video camera / setup's driver. They will just use the appropriate Windows API, meaning that if it doesn't work for one, it's unlikely to work for any.
Try to sort out your driver / hardware issue and then pick and choose.
