Wireless network at home
#1
Carrying on from the Broadband at home theme, once I get my Pipex line sorted, will I be able to set up a Wireless network at home.
I'm looking to get this ...
Buffalo Airport
... and obviously cards for the desktop and laptops.
Anyone using one/recommend a better one.
Obviously security issues with people leeching are on my mind. This one seems to have some good security built in.
Is it better to have a firewall set on the router or put something like zone alarm on the connected pcs.
I want to be able to do some work from home without interferring with the littl'un doing his homework so the possibility of us both being on-line at the same time is quite high.
What will the speed issues be then?
Thanks in advance for the help.
