Can anyone recommend any good way of doing this ,I have the video on the p.c. What i need to know is what is the best software to do the job keeping good picture quality and size ,But i would like the file size to be under 50mb for a 10min clip.

You could try Dr. Divx. Very easy to use and works a treat

No probs. Its incredibly easy to use. Just open your file, click go and off it goes

I use Vidomi and Roxio VideoWave for more fiddly stuff.
