Currently using Pipex xtreme and wish to upgrade to a 1mb connection.... what a mess. They want me to change to paying by credit card or pay £35.00+vat...why?? I have been paying for ages by direct debit...

Not going to back down.... why the hell should I pay to upgrade???

They made me pay mine by credit card right from the off

At least I shouldn't have any problems upgrading but will then see if I can change it to dd after i have.

Did they give a reason as to why it had to be by credit card?

Also ...they dont tell you on the web site but this upgrade is not available for another 6 weeks or so..... Thats handy forgetting to put such an important fact in the info!!!
