I have a DMS3 chipped PS2, Im working in Canada for the next couple of moths and was wondering if It will work on a Canadian TV?
If It wont work is there anything I can do to make it work?

Are you going to use the RF connector or an av cable?
RF will work if the tv is multi standard, i.e can support Pal as well. Scart might not be an option (don't really find these outside of europe) but composite output should be alright as long as the tv does Pal.
Don't forget the power, don't own a ps2 so can't check. You may need a step up tranformer.

HHxx is absolutely right. Canada is NTSC and we are PAL format. If the TV can accept PAL (which your PS2 outputs) then that problem is solved. However Canada is a different voltage and frequency to what we are here. We are 240 Volts 60 Hertz and they are 110 Volts 50 Hertz (from memory). You will have to confirm that the PS2 has universal power supply but I very much doubt that it does.
