Help me to get to 6000K 3D Mark
#1
Hi all,
Right well I've been playing over the last few nights with my rig and i've managed to get:
3DMark 2003 - 5950
3DMark 2001 - 16800
I'm very happy with the scores (i know it doesn't compare to some of yours but then I'm not THAT hardcore) but I really want to get into the 6K Mark in 2003. Here is my spec:
XP2700 @ 11x188fsb 2166Mhz
A7N8X Rev 1.0 with 1004 Uber Bios
Corsair Twinx-LL 3200 @ 5-2-2-2-2T
Radeon 9800 Pro @ 411/360
1.75VCore
AGP/DDR/CPU Voltages all upped and still running sub 40C - plenty of quality cooling.
The thing is I just can't get my FSB any higher without 3DMark crashing out. If i overclock my card any more I get small white pixels (only on the mother nature test and only in the water????) so i don't want to push that anymore.
It is well known that these rev 1.0 boards can only reach a max of 200fsb but normally only about 190fsb due to limited voltages to the southbridge. I think i've just about found my limit at 11x188.
Any suggestions what I can do now or AM i at my absolute limit?
Regards
Marc
