Question

I've seen the Sony DW-U10A and PIONEER DVR-106 DVD writes for about the same price. Both are dual format. I was about to go for the Pioneer as I thought the Sony would be more expensive. But if the're the same price, which would you go for? I've seen good reviews for both.

The pioneers really seem widely regarded and flavour of the month.

I've got one, been faultless

I am swayed by the Pioneer. I've not heard a bad word about it yet. Looks like that's the one...

Since we have so many kitted up folks here I would like to ask a related question.

Which of you also have a PS2? and have any of you successfully copied video footage or Mpeg files onto a DVD using either your Sony or Pioneer drive in such a way that you can play it back on your PS2

If someone can say that this is possible and how they did it then I will be getting one for sure.

Cheers
