Word - text overlap in header?
#1
Is it possible to make text overlap your header in Word (Office XP)?
I've created a letterhead, but the text on the right pushes the cursor down. I can't type next to it.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Embed the text as an anchored graphic...
Open header and footer view, and with the drawing toolbar insert a textbox. Paste your logo/etc into there, and bingo! Bob's your uncle and Fanny is your aunt...
Don't forget to rightclick the box and select "format autoshape" to turn off the border if it happens that your settings default to a black border.
Cheers,
Nick.
