C`mon peebs i`m lookin for some info about what hardware`s available for capturing live video to my laptop at a decent price.
Got a new project on the go so any info / personal experiences of hardware appreciated

PC Card capture cards are available (for analogue stuff) but couldn't tell you which is best etc.
If your laptop already has a Firewire port, then you are laughing for digital capture.

if laptops got usb 2 belkin have a usb capture card mpeg2 etc looked okay not used it though, would bother with anything usb 1 as i don't think it's got a good enough data transfer rate. Could be wrong though in my opinion iether firewire or usb2 though
