Question

Hi all

I have logged into my Tiscali email address today and I have loads of emails entitled "Re: My details" & Re Your application" withe the text "Please see the attached file for details" and they have an attachment that is a .pif file that has been removed What on earth is going on?

paul, you are in network management!!!

get yourself on a mailing list like sophos, for instance, they will send you alerts etc...

Had 20/30 of these in last couple of days was suspicious and immediately binned them but nice to have confirmation. Can't really use my word filter to send them automatically to delete folder. D

Had this one yesterday, and it started firing emails off left, right and centre.

Just found a repair tool on Symantec's website, so hopefully got it under control.

bttt for those who haven't noticed it yet. I had 25 of these this morning one had sent an email from me to some unsubscribe thingie that I didn't even know about and sucessfully unsubscribed me
