This morning when I booted win2k server up, I logged in and it started loading the desktop, but didn't get to the point where it loads icons, and then it showed the "Saving Your Settings" dialog box that you get when logging off. At this point it took me right back to the "Press Ctrl+Alt+Del To Log In" screen. After this, it showed a window saying "At least one service or driver failed to load during system startup, use event viewer to view event log for details.
Hmmmmm, this all stemmed from a missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe file, which i restored from a fresh install of win2k on another partition.
My thoughts tell me its PCAnywhere based!!!
any quick fixes??
