As above, formatted hard disk earlier today, installed windows, AOL etc. Thing is i can only get 16 colours so this page looks awful and is like a 5 yr old's ladybird book.

In Properties, Display it won't let me have more than 16 colours nor 600x480 rez.

Do you know what graphics card you have ?
Make, model.
If unsure, take the card out and should be written on it.

did you get the modem working? if so, just download all the latest drivers for everything. goto www. windowsupdate.com and update any patches that windows 98 need.
