It says this shutdown was initatied by nt authority system.

Oh please, please, please don't simply download and install this one fix.

Whilst it is fixing the vulnerability in the RPC service, the fact that it has happened at all means the your PC is totally insecure on the internet.

Do yourself a favour and find out about software firewalls, and install one. Even if it's the freebie version ZoneAlarm, it's better than nothing.

Keep getting a box coming up on screen with a countdown timer to computer shutting down with something like rpc and finish all programs and log off. Any ideas what it is.
