Question

I appreciate this is a long shot, but does anyone know of any current makes/models of modem that carry UL approval?

It can be either internal or external (half-height internal PCI is ideal), but must carry a good range of worldwide telecom approvals as well as UL recognition or listing. This information seems to be virtually impossible to extract from distributors or even manufacturers, sadly

Any and all leads welcome...

Ta
Andy.

The Zoom 3030 is shown as being UL approved.

Ian,

Thanks for the lead - I've talked to Zoom already so it'll be interesting to see if they mention that one!

UL's site does list loads, but that's not to say that they're all current models - there will be loads of old 1200/75, 14k4, 28k8 etc. modems there that are obsolete. I figured it'd be easier to work the other way, especially given that the part numbers that UL have aren't necessarily exactly the same as the product codes shown on manufacturers' sites (even though they're supposed to be!).

A.
