There was a thread recently on what those beeps meant, but was for an AROCK mobo ...

So what does One long beep
and then two short beeps mean on an ASUS board (A7V-VM)
rev 2.02

Cheers
Andy

Not till Tuesday Steve, this shed parked next to me is the reason I ordered that stuff.

Now it looks like the video adapter has a fault,

Power on beeeeeeep, beep, beep........ nothing else
well the hard disks are spinning and the fans are running but not alot else.. oh well, consign it to the bin next week.

Fuzz - download Asus probe (from the Asus website) and check your voltages.

When I bought my P533 m/b it beeped on boot up as well and it turned out that the PSU wasn't quite beefy enough to supply a stable 3.3 volts. Onve I upgraded that, the beeping went away
