I've been looking at spec'ing up a PC to use as a home server. Initially, I was going to just get a cheapo CD-ROM drive in the machine, and possibly upgrade/add a DVD-RW drive later on when I get a job/have some money. Until then I'd use my external Firewire CDRW drive with the PC.

However, the thought occurs that a more sensible approach might be to sell the external drive, and then use the money to get a decent internal drive for the PC, thereby rendering the CD-ROM idea irrelevant.

So, anyone here interested in buying my drive? It's a 48x32x16 (IIRC) Lacie drive. Otherwise I'll stick it on eBay when I've got the PC.
