a week or so ago i asked about my abit kx333 running a 2500 barton. i emailed dabs who i bought the board off and they said it will run 333mhz memory but only 200/266 FSB NOT 333MHz. Is the barton clock multiplier locked as i can only get 1466mhz out of it (11x133). the mobo will run @ 13x133 which would be close to the 2.5 barton speed.
So i am in the market for a new mobo that will run my 2500 barton. i would also like to have a mobo that is futureproof (a little bit anyway). a couple of guys recommended ASUS mobo, and while they may be good boards i have never used one. Abit boards have never given me any trouble.
So should i wait and run my barton at 1466mhz on my kx333 mobo or should i wait for athlon 64 and get a new board then.
cheers

I'm with Dave on the Asus mobo he mentions above - cracking board.
I've got the lesser A7V8X (recent build, too), but I'm well impressed....
(Me thinks Dave & I were the guys that replied to your earlier post too! lol!)
