XBOX game recommendations?

I'm fairly new to the Xbox but have been playing first person shooters on PCs for ages (Quake, Unreal, MoH, etc etc).
Just finished Halo - very impressed etc etc. However, I also have Splinter Cell and Enter the Matrix. I have tried getting into these but the control interface just drives me round the bend. I've given up on splinter cell as the whole camera/character is just intensely frustrating. I'm sure I could get used to it but I think I've been playing first person things too long to be bothered with it now.
Can anyone recommend any Xbox games that have a "first person" type of control like that in Halo?
Cheers

Bought Yager last week and its a top game - a little like Halo but in spaceships - highly recommend it
Splinter cell is worth perservering with - once you get used to the control system it really is a stonkingly good game

Brute Force - Many mags unfairly slated it but my mate likes it
it's not strictly speaking an FPS, as your view is slightly in 3rd person mode, but plays exactly like an FPS game.
You can play the whole game through in 4-player co-op mode.
Players can going the game at any time.
Has downloadable content from XBox Live
