Bizarre LCD monitor problem
#1
I have two thunderbug type things crawling around my LCD monitor, behind the LCD bit and in front of the illuminated bit. I'm hoping they're going to die and drop off, but what happens if they end up stuck on?

Can of compressed air does the trick if they do stick. That assumes you can easily get side access to the panel itself.
Thunderbugs tend not to stick when they die unless something holds them up e.g. static.

Fortunately an LCD monitor doesn't generate as much static as a CRT. They seem to be gone this morning.
The weirdest thing is I kept trying to click on them with the mouse to get rid of them (IIRC there was an old Windows 3.1 program called 'Roach' that was like this....)

Had exactly the same thing the other day! I was writing some software when one of my letters walked off!! I pissed myself. Shouted my boss over to see if he could fix "this killer bug in my software!"
