Hi,

I'm having a discussion with my web designer about paths in Dreamweaver. All of the auto-generated code uses relative paths where I want it to use full paths. Is there a way of getting Dreamweaver to automagically do this?

I do have a good reason for this, I'm not just out to upset my designer

IIRC, you cannot do an automatic, site-wide change. If you want to swap from relative pathing to absolute, you do it in the 'link' dialogue box, on the bottom.

i.e. Click link icon (little folder)

When you first create links or images you can change the link type from relative to absolute, but as Cem says, there's no way of swapping a whole site automatically.

You could do a full search replace for ="../ and replace with =" keep doing it for how many levels of folders you have to get rid of them all.
