Or even Tomb Raider (sorry) can't edit topic titles?
I know it has been slated in the reviews, but my local GAME store has them in stock already if you're a diehard fan......

Update: I 'borrowed' it yesterday from a friend who works at my local games shop. The controls are dire, the interaction with characters has failed (so far) to meet the promises made and the graphics aren't much cop either.
I've always been a fan of the series but the marketing seems to have over-hyped this one somewhat (now theres a change!)

Played TR for an hour or so and got as far as the nightclub. It is still lacking the sparkle the other games had as far as I am concerned.

There's been hardly any pre-release reviews which is normally a bad sign. The software company not wanting to give it to any mags so they don't slate it and harm the first lot of sales.

Got the Pc version today.
Graphics good, sound good, control system ok, story ok. Not a bad game, but not stunning either. I've played and finished all of the other tomb raider games. This one seems a bit easier than the previous games (been dumbed down for the masses it seems ). The control system is pretty much the same as for all the previous games, except they seem to have got rid of a lot of the camera problems, and the sudden death sceanrios.

Daz,
I can heartily recommend GTA: VC and also Getaway on the PS2. Socom: Navy Seals is not too bad either once you get past the novelty of the headset. Also, a bit of a delve into the past saw me buying Deus Ex for the PS2 which is well worth the £12 I paid for it second hand.

If survivial horror is your thing then Silent Hill3 (PS2) is a seriously polished game, ICO is also a must in anyones PS2 collection...

Cheers lads, got all the games you mention except Silent Hill 3.
Spose I could always get Resident Evil Zero on my GameCube, as I've finished all the others and enjoyed them. Not a fan of Silent Hill 1 with all that bleedin' fog!
Just downloading Aquanox2 at the moment, and The Italian Job (game) for some reason!

This is going to make me sound very ignorant but I wasn't aware you could..ahem..backup PS2 games to CD.
Anyone care to tell me how to go about it? Off-line if you're shy....

PC tomb raider is in the shops tomorrow Tracey. I pre-ordered mine from gameplay.co.uk and it arrived yesterday morning.
Played it for a while now, and although I'm not 100% convinced it's as good as the previous games, I'm enjoying it
