Nope, just slot them in.
They do stick out a bit, but they all should play (I think there's about 2% that don't play, but they're really really old titles).
Pressing one of the shoulder buttons give you 'widescreen' mode
Just out of curiosity, what colour SP did you get?

I know the unit itself is pretty much the same price everywhere. But where is a good place to buy a package with 2-3 (decent) games? Most of the packages Ive seen are with crap games?

Am thinking just buy the SP from Argos and then buy a few games from cd-wow or the like....

Thanks,
Simon.

try ringing your local choices or blockbuster, I bought games for £9 each from choices that were ex rental, boxes were all good with instructions etc(as they don't go out for rent).

Been looking on Ebay but most are selling with games I dont fancy. People are paying £75 plus postage for 2nd hand Gameboy SP's. Personally Id rather fork out the extra tenner or so and buy it from a shop, safe in the knowledge I could take it back.

Toys R us (again) do a good deal, Gameboy SP + 2 games from a list of about 15-20 for £100
I got a Black SP (to fit in with my gamecube) and Super Bust-a-Move and Colin McRae Rally 2.0.
Toys R Us are also doing a BOGOF deal on some Gameboy Games.

Have you tried the store locator on their website?
Here
They do better deals in store than they do on the web.

Yer the nearest one is in Peterborough or Stevenage. You know if Mariokart is one of the games on their list?

Went to Toys R Us today and the packs they had were pants. Best one was the SP with 3 games - Tetris Worlds, Metroid Fusion & Planet of the Apes for just shy of £130. I like tetris and metroid looks cool so went to buy one and they had none left. Think I will just buy the SP for £89 at Argos and get a load of games off ebay for a tenner each.

What do you think of CM2? I found the handling to be a bit wild.
MK is great, if you get gold in a class then play that class again and get over 100 coins - it unlock the Snes tracks for that class

How do you play original gameboy games, Im assuming you need some form of adapter for the different cartridge size?

I wanted silver but Argos only had black and blue in. Silver seems hard to get hold of. But Im thinking I will stick with black as silver tends to scratch to easy and the scratches show up worse.

Really am impressed with Mario Kart. Brings back memories of the SNES.

BTW anyone know what determines your rank on each cup - Im rank B on most. Is is something to do with collecting more coins?

Yes it is, that and the place you finish.
Rainbow road is quite hard (like the original Snes one, no real barriers like the N64 vers).
That has to be my fave track of all time on Mario Kart.
