Does anybody know the location and name of the executable that starts the search facility in windows? I need to publish this as a Citrix application but i'm not sure where the exe is?

Thanks
Marc

if you run taskmanger and then fire up start/search/files&folders, there are no new processes started, although in apps tab of task manager the task "search results" is listed. When you rightclick/go to process of this task it just points you back to explorer.exe. - is the search facility just not a part of explorer.exe - why not point to this from whatever you are doing?

Load up the Search Window ie Start > Search > Files

Specify somewhere to look ie "My Documents" but no other criteria.

Start the search

When it's finished (or click stop), click File > Save Search

This gives you a .fnd file which you can shortcut to. Not sure if it'll Publish via MetaFrame though...
