I have around 150,000 records in a fixed width file that I need to load into MS Access 2000.
Any ideas how to go about it ? It doesn't appear to take a flat text file.

Thanks Gary.
I do File, Get External Data->Import (doesn't say from file on mine).
All I get is the option to open - various dBASE formats, Exchange, Excel or Access.
New to Access and its run over Citrix so I have little control over it

Cheers Fig, thats my backup plan if it can't be done an easier way
A lot of a pain though as Excel only takes 65k at a time
