Any free tools for creating PDF from DOC?

As per title, is there anything about that can create a PDF file from a Word DOC? Ideally free..

Nimbus,

I have PDF Printer drivers that are for W98 and W2K - they will convert anything you want - I use them all the time for sending people Acad drg's, autoroute maps etc.

Basically if you have a programme that prints you can convert it to pdf.


Right click save as:

W2k

W98

Edit to say - they are the proper Adobe ones - not these shreware demo jobbies that watermark/stamp the pdf file.

Can anyone point me to the files posting in mj's last post? My PC crashed a few months ago I don't seem to have a copy saved anywhere...

I use pdf995 (www.pdf995.com) which is ad supported but generates the PDF files pretty well..

Check out Staroffice / Openoffice.
FREE alternative to Microsoft Office and has built in PDF maker.

Really good program.

Talking It's probably becoming irritating but...

buy a Mac, OSX is built on PDF's just save as...

PC wise there are lots of free utils out there but if you want to have full control you need to get the proper distiller from Adobe.
