Question

Dear All,

Is it possible to create a wallpaper for my PC using Photoshop? I have a simple picture and just want it on a white background.

Any tips much appreciated, preferably simple for a real duffer! (I wish I had the time to learn more about Photoshop!).

Thanks in advance!

It depends what OS your on. As far as I can remember (but don't quote me on this) OS's like 98 and 95 require a Bitmap image but 2000 and XP you can use any image as wallpaper.

Create your image in Photoshop and make sure you size it so that it is the same size as your desktop. The save it to an area where you're not going to delete it.

The on your Desktop - right click to go into Display Properties. Click on the browse button and find the image that you want to use.

Thats it!
