I am looking into getting AOL Broadband [for easiness sake because I already have AOL].

I have 2 PC's both currently on AOL but on separate telephone lines. Is it possible to network the 2 PC's on AOL Broadband so I can dispense with one BT line?

Is anybody using AOL Broadband and had any issues with it, is it OK?

Also what is the best way to network, both pc's have network cards in.

AOL is not flexible when it comes to sharing your connection. Unfortunately none of the ADSL or Cable/DSL routers work with AOL UK If you want to share your connection you will have to resort to using Microsoft ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).

IMO, I would look into using a different ISP for your broadband while maintaining your AOL Email account because it will be a lot simplier now than in the future.

Roadrunner, I thought that might be the case with networking on AOL. Spose I had better start searching for another ISP then. Anyone you can recommend? I am limited though to who I can use, not all ISP's cover the area I live in.

Anyway thanks for your input
