is it possible to recieve and view terrestial programs through a home pc.

bit short on space in office / spare room to put portable in as well.

Plenty of cards about to do just this. Look up Hauppauge for analogue cards. I don't like them myself, I feel they are a bit flaky and the software isn't that hot, but they do work.

If you can receive Freeview (i.e. digital terrestial) you could go for the most excellent Nebula DigiTV Card. Remember of course for both analogue and digital you will need an aerial to plug into the back. With the Nebula you can also record to dis, comes with a remote control and receiver etc. I use one every day, in fact, keeping up on news on News24 right now.

Yep, you can get digital and analogue cards (or external devices) for your PC.

Check out the Creative Labs PC/TV Tuner omn special at Scan.

Buy a card depending on whether you want to connect your aerial or connect it to your Sky box.

I have the Leadtek WinFast TV 2000XP Deluxe.

I have the Happuage (sp!) WinTV USB. Runs fine under Windows 2000 Pro for me.
